Alliance PT PCE Written/Clinical Exam Blueprint:

The Examination Blueprint outlines the essential components to be covered by the PCE and specifies the proportion of each of them to be covered by the examination. Such components are organized into two components: domains and practice areas. In turn, the Examination Blueprint guides the development for the PCE of a bank of questions and clinical stations. About 90 percent of the Written Component questions are accompanied by vignettes. A vignette provides information about a patient, such as age and diagnosis, for example. The following series of questions are based on the information in the vignette. Stand-alone questions are the remaining 10% of the Written Component questions.
